    Bath toys play a great role in assisting you raise your baby. A clean bath toy in this regard helps you have a healthy playful kid. A dirty bath toy exposes your child to harmful bacteria and germs that will endanger the health of your baby. Bath toys usually have holes that collect soap residue. These residues serve as a medium for mould to grow in the dump bathroom environment. Flushing a toilet according to research spreads germs to as far as 20 feet away. Therefore you need to keep bath toys far from the toilet lest they get contaminated moreover babies usually put toys in their mouth. It is prudent therefore for parents to care of their babies by keeping the bath toys clean and safe from germs and bacteria.

    Critical in minimising spread of germs is choosing the right bath toy for your baby. You therefore need to look for bath toys that are resistant to mould and mildew. You also need to avoid toys that have holes as well as spongy bath toys. In order to get safe bath toys consider plastic books, balls and other shapes that do not have holes.

    When you’ve finally bought your baby’s bath toy, you need to maintain a high standard of hygiene. The bath toys should be cleaned and disinfected all the time. You should also air the dry bath toys after use. Always store the bath toys in a mesh bag or other container that allows air to circulate. Buckets and other containers are not preferable because water may collect at the bottom allowing germs to sprout. Last but not least you need to keep a regular schedule of cleaning your baby’s bath toys in order to avoid health hazards for your baby.
